NOC Engineer — Network & Automation · Skynet
I keep an FTTH network running and build the tools that run it.
I work at Skynet, an FTTH ISP in East Java. Half of my work is the network: routers, OLTs, upstreams and incidents. The other half is the software around it: billing, installs over WhatsApp, monitoring and outage detection, shipped with tests and guarded deploys.

GitHub Actions Billing and operations platform for an FTTH ISP: customers, invoices, online payments, automatic isolate/reconnect on MikroTik, and the tools NOC uses every day.
Technicians activate new customers and migrate existing ones from a WhatsApp group: OCR on photos, PPPoE secret, ONU provisioning and ACS tag in one flow.

Collects ONU, CPE and PPPoE events, works out the likely cause (fiber cut, power off, Wi-Fi, PPPoE) and sends NOC a WhatsApp digest. Runs in shadow mode first.

Today I run NOC operations at Skynet, an FTTH ISP — and what I enjoy most is the seam between networks and code: if an ops task repeats, there is usually a tool that should be doing it, with tests and a rollback.
